Most beginners believe learning piano means memorising songs. The truth is, real musicianship begins when you understand how music works. It's when your ears, your mind, and your hands work together. At InVision Music, our adult beginner piano lessons build that connection through three essential pillars: 🎧 Ear Training: You’ll learn to listen like a musician. Hear rhythm, melody, and harmony inside the songs you love and develop your inner ear, the ability to hear music from within and bring it to life at the keys. 📚 Theory: Theory is simply the language of music. We’ll name what you hear; half steps, whole steps, scales, chords, and patterns, so you can understand and communicate what’s happening in sound. 🎹 Technique: This is where thought becomes sound. You’ll learn how to touch the keys with relaxed strength and control, developing tone, balance, and flow. A weighted 88-key keyboard is recommended to help you build confident technique from the start. (Not mandatory, of course, and also happy to help you get one) Step by step, you’ll move from pressing keys to making music. You’ll gain clarity, control, and creative freedom. Your teacher isn’t here to hand you songs; he’s here to help you build the foundation to play any song you love.
